China Town in Dusseldorf

Due to Corona, only delivery / collection is currently possible. Collection of course only with mouth and nose protection and a distance of 1.5m. Unfortunately no delivery on the Christmas holidays. The food was delicious, like every time.

The dim sum tastes very good

New China Town is a simply furnished, inconspicuous restaurant between two small parking lots. So much for "Don't just judge the look." On the one hand, you can eat classically "Chinese in Europe" very well here. So something for everyone. But deeper in the menu you can find all variations of dim sum and you can let off steam here. Who does not know it can get advice, in any case a whole meal of dim sum is a great pleasure here. Next come again.

I ordered Zhenjiang spare ribs and fish-flavored eggplant pot with rice. They were all delicious

I've been here several times now and each time we were very satisfied. A star deduction because the first draft beer should actually be thrown away after opening the restaurant and the cloudy broth is not served. Otherwise nothing to complain about. Always very nice and attentive service, excellent and plentiful food and the drink on the house is worth the visit alone. Alcohol-free, I would say, and something like kiwi with coconut and orange juice ... or something like that. Customer parking spaces are also a plus that should not be underestimated and, last but not least, the many Chinese guests also speak a clear sign.

Very good lunch buffet (before Corona). Now with the restrictions a very good lunch menu selection. If you come more often, you can also enjoy real Chinese cuisine, for the rest the good European "Chinese cuisine" remains.

The food was very good. It was nice and hot, tasted great and very plentiful. The service was friendly, as always. Unfortunately we were almost alone in the restaurant due to corona. We can recommend this restaurant 100 percent.

good food, reasonable pricing

Very unfriendly staff. Starters were forgotten. When the main courses arrived, the rice was forgotten to serve. Only after our point that the rice still missing, this was brought without an apology. The food was of course cold. A shame.

Always great Chinese food

Nice atmosphere, we had a four-table for two and were there at lunchtime. The waitress was experienced in the service, but the friendliness is still a lot of room for improvement. The choice of food is plentiful and tasty. For a business lunch well suited.

Food was delicious !!!

The buffet was very good and tasty plus everything was well managed and last but not the least ambience was great.

Beef noodle soup is a tasty word without any taste of the stock. The noodles are also buna buna and not delicious. However, the seasoning of the beef itself is good. I was surprised that the shrimp baked food that had been waiting for a long time was still cold at the center. The taste is normal. It will be useful in the future as it is open on Sundays according to the price.

Nice food!

Local is typically Asian / Chinese. The food is average Chinese food at prices that are not too over the top. But you can not expect great culinary achievements. The toilets are very clean but old and carelessly equipped.

People are nice but they serve pre-cooked dish. I had fried chicken with sweet and sour sayce and the same one with a pork. The quality of chicken meat was very very bad and pork as well. Probably they use microwave to make old food hot again and just add fresh vegetables on top makes it just cooked. Real chinese food is way more better that this. I do not recommend this place.

9€ buffet = you get what you pay for My experience in China Town was quite negative. As I sat, I was welcomed by the surprise of hairs, crumbs, and a dead spider on the table (and I tell you, it was a dry crunchy old dead spider). I have been to China so I was expecting awesome stuff, but I was quite disappointed by the food quality: cold, flat dishes. Everything is deep fried or has a sauce on it. Not very tasty either :( So of course I didn't have seconds. As I payed the 9 euros for the buffet, I gave them 50c as a tip, and the lady took it in a very hostile way, and walked away without saying anything. Only would give thumbs up to the location.

Great lunch buffet, and really good prices. Lovely staff that take care of you. And they accept sodexo which is fantastic!

Highly recommended for dinner. The food was delicious. Freshly cooked, great quality and served quickly. The service was very friendly. Is probably a good sign when many Chinese were there to eat. Price / performance top. The bird's nest is absolutely recommended.

Authentic food

It's great food. The taste is very well balanced with multiple choices on the menu.

Free buffet with good food and tee for 11 euro. When it is not in the "rush hours", it is like an oasis! I like it very much and gladly recommend it! Also for vegetarians!

Reasonable food and prices. Somewhat hotter, saltier, with less flavour variation than typical Cantonese cuisine that you find in the UK or US.

Very authentic Cantonese Chinese food! There was fresh fish available and we decided to try the steamed version. A very different way of steamed fish and it was delicious. Fish was indeed fresh. The only down side was there were still some fish scales on the skin. So be sure remind them to clean it thoroughly. At €25, it’s cheap for this quality at a restaurant. Also had the stir fry bitter gourd with beef. Not many Chinese restaurant can do this dish well. The beef was tender and the bitter gourd was not too bitter. Excellent dinner!

Good quality food and attentive service. A lovely buffet lunch, with lots of choice including dim sum, chicken, duck, calamari and much, much more. With a varied dessert selection, it's a winner and I'm a regular patron.

Typical chinese buffet at lunch time. Not much choice. Hate when they tell you they cannot take payment card because supposedly internet is down... not going back especially when there are much better places just a few steps away...
